My passions are ethical purchasing/contracting and implementing
projects and programs that benefit my community. I started my professional career at the City of Santa Cruz in 1998 and stumbled into a Purchasing position a few years later. Procurement was a perfect fit for me and I quickly developed my skills and promoted to a Senior Buyer. I have since joined the City's Water Department as a Principal Management Analyst and work on bidding, contracting, grant applications, and budgeting for a 15-year $700M CIP.
I have also pursued development of my meeting facilitation skills and have assisted in several department-wide change management and conflict resolution events.
I am a big supporter of responsible work/home life balance so I have many passions outside of work hours. I LOVE Santa Cruz and enjoy the beaches and hiking trails throughout the area.
